Objective
To strengthen the capacity of government officials and negotiators in designing and negotiating bilateral investment treaties that are in favor of investors and serve the development objectives of selected ESCWA member countries

Enhanced the capacity of government officials in the ministries of foreign affairs, justice, economy, investment and planning to negotiate and formulate BIT

Increased the number of government official who have the capacity to implement bilateral investment agreements and to manage investor-State disputes
