Brief Description
This project aims at strengthening the capacity of Latin American and Caribbean countries, particularly in Central America, to promote effective social inclusion of youth in the context of violence and insecurity. Capacity building will be provided in the processing and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data on youth issues, especially those related to the social and conomic dimensions that constitute a major constraint for youth development and that define the context in which violence emerges. Furthermore, through the project’s facilitation of knowledge sharing and the promotion of a regional dialogue, decision-makers will learn about policies that have been successful in different settings.
