This project aims to enhance national capacity of planning ministries and non-governmental actors in selected developing countries to assess, design and update national development strategies in the context of the discussion of the post-2015 UN development framework. The project will assist in examining emerging national development challenges and priorities for a post-2015 framework, and in formulating effective national strategies aligned with internationally agreed development goals. Among the activities planned under the project are: the further elaboration of an analytical framework to be applied in reviewing progress by NVP countries; facilitating multi-stakeholder national dialogues by NVP countries to review development progress and define post-2015 development priorities; providing advisory services to support national dialogues and to assist NVP countries in formulating effective follow-up policies and strategies; and facilitating exchange of experiences and lessons learned at the regional and global levels
